Project Manager - Commercial Construction

The role   
Join a local main contractor based in Tauranga to work on the development of a retail village, consisting of shops, healthcare facilities and offices. 

Working closely with an existing client you will lead the development, creating a successful programme that completes on time, while managing site based staff, where your focus will be to create a positive and enjoyable work environment.  

As a Project Manager, you will be a big part of the company, reporting directly to senior management with a say on future developments and the future structure of the business. You will be rewarded with a competitive pay structure and you will work for a company that respects you and your family life. 

Responsibilities: 

You will be responsible for the build and progress of commercial developments, leading this exciting project over the next 12 months before moving to our next local sites.  

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Build and maintain professional relationships especially with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the site team.
• Ensure positive financial outcomes on projects by working closely on the programme and with your site staff.
• Successfully executing the delivery of this project to the highest standard and finish to ensure our good name and reputation continues.
